After a successful legal career and passing the bar exam, Vesna Mudrinić chose to follow her inner calling and dedicate herself to what truly inspires her: holistic work with people through traditional Chinese medicine. A traffic accident became a defining moment of courage, sealing this profound life change and guiding her toward a new professional path.
The name Satori — a Japanese Zen term for sudden, profound insight — reflects Vesna’s vision: to offer patients immediate clarity and relief. At her Zagreb-based practice of the same name, she brings together Eastern wisdom and Western science, creating an accessible, evidence-informed approach to acupuncture that is clear, grounded, and easy to understand.
No two Satori acupuncture treatments are the same — just as no two bodies are identical. At Satori Acupuncture, we do not follow a universal formula. Instead, we combine carefully developed approaches to tailor each treatment to the individual needs of the person in front of us.

Dr Vesna Mudrinić, founder of Satori Acupuncture, built her education in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture at international higher education institutions.
She began her studies in traditional Chinese medicine through the Shenzhen University of Traditional Chinese Medicine programme in Amsterdam. She later earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York. She continued her academic training at Pacific College of Health and Science in the United States, where she completed her doctoral studies in acupuncture and earned the title Doctor of Acupuncture — DAc.
During her master’s studies, she completed more than 2,500 hours of theoretical, practical, and clinical training. This included biomedical and clinical sciences, diagnostic methods, clinical decision-making, acupuncture treatment techniques, and supervised clinical practice.
Her approach is based on an integrative model that connects contemporary scientific knowledge from Western medicine with the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. This enables a comprehensive assessment of each patient’s health, individualised treatment planning, and responsible collaboration with other healthcare professionals when needed.
Dr Vesna Mudrinić continuously expands her knowledge through international education, congresses, and professional training. In her work, she brings together evidence-based knowledge, clinical experience, and the tradition of Chinese medicine, offering patients a safe, professional, and individualised approach to treatment.

Training under the mentorship of Claudia Citkovitz. An approach focused on women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and childbirth.
