Vesna Mudrinić, founder of the Satori Acupuncture clinic in Zagreb, has followed an interesting and unconventional professional path. After graduating from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and beginning a career as a lawyer, she discovered her true calling in Eastern medicine and acupuncture.
Her formal journey in acupuncture began at the Faculty of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Amsterdam, where she graduated in 2014. She continued her education at the prestigious Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York, earning her master’s degree under the mentorship of leading experts. Following her experience in New York, Vesna returned to Zagreb in 2019 to open her private clinic, while also maintaining a practice in the United States.
Vesna’s interest in Eastern medicine was sparked by her personal experiences with shiatsu therapy and acupuncture treatments, which successfully improved her health. Over years of advanced training, she has developed a holistic approach to the human body, employing six different styles of acupuncture, with Traditional Chinese Medicine as the foundation of her work.
For Vesna, acupuncture is far more than merely treating symptoms – it involves careful diagnosis and treating the body as an integrated system. The goal is to restore natural balance and enable the body to heal itself.
It is important to note that in the United States, acupuncture is considered a form of complementary medicine and is recognized as an independent healthcare profession. The World Health Organization (WHO) has included Traditional Chinese Medicine in its international classification system ICD-11, confirming its scientific value.
At Satori Acupuncture, Vesna Mudrinić brings a unique combination of tradition and contemporary knowledge, offering personalized treatments tailored to each individual.
